New Home Construction
Vick kennedy Inspections, Inc. offers clients building new homes complete consulting and inspecting before, during, and after construction. With his experience as a home builder and consultant, Vick offers a full set of services including pre construction consulting, construction phase inspections, on and off site consultations with you and your builder, and warranty inspections after home is completed.
Having Vick involved in the construction of your home helps eliminate potential problems that may delay construction or result in warranty problems and construction defects.
With his menu of services you can choose which inspections you would like to use. A typical minimum recommendation is to have a foundation inspection, frame/mechanical inspection, and final inspection performed. It is recommended that all phases of the construction be inspected, including insulation and wallboard. Roof inspections are included in the frame and final inspections. If a specialty roof such as tile, metal, or wood is being installed, it is recommended an inspection be made while roofing is in progress.
Many times during the construction of your home questions will come up that no one can answer or perhaps you are uncomfortable with the answer you were given. As a third party, Vick can provide guidance and understanding to the issues and answers.
